Qualifications:
* MS/PhD
* 5-10 years experience with a broad materials background - inorganic, polymers, glass, asphalt, non-wovens
* Commercialization and patent experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work with Sales and Marketing and other divisions
* Can pick up on technology quickly
Duties:
* Improve existing products and develop new products to meet customers needs
* Be guided by external market trends and regulatory influences
* Accountable for utilizing product and application expertise to represent at trade associations, industry and special interest coalitions
* Influence the progress of industry codes and standards
* Work closely with technical groups, marketing and sales and with external companies and associations to find new opportunities for innovation
