Qualifications:
* MS/PhD
* 10-15 years experience with a broad materials background - inorganic, polymers, glass, asphalt, non-wovens
* History of commercialized / patented products
* Ability/history of mentoring Chemists
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work with Sales and Marketing
Duties:
* Improve existing core products and develop new products to meet customer needs
* Be guided by external market trends and regulatory influences
* Accountable for utilizing product and application expertise to represent at trade associations, industry and special interest coalitions
* Influence the progress of industry codes and standards
* Work closely with technical groups, marketing and sales, and external companies and associations to find new opportunities for innovation in products
