Qualifications:
* BS/MS Chemistry or related science
* 5+ years of Industrial and Home Care formulation and technical experience with a major company
* Knowledge of surfactants and HI&I product formulating
* Excellent people and communication skills
* Flexible and creative
* Strong background and experience in statistical experimental design and analysis
* Experience with direct customer technical support and/or supplier interactions
* Bilingual English and either German, Spanish or Portuguese
Duties:
* Responsible for leading the Industrial and Home Care competency area for consumer care
* Responsible for designing, planning and executing technical projects
* Responsible for the regional development of formulations suitable for applications related to business
* Lead laboratory projects, monitor patent and trade literature, customer interaction and assisting in the development of the project pipeline and market strategy
* Provide general technical support for the sales and marketing groups and for developing and testing prototype formulations with raw materials
* Perform certain product management duties and assist with preparation of technical literature and presentations
* Travel from 10-40%
